Good vision can be vital in ensuring the safety of employees. Some occupations such as drivers and machinery (Forklifts, Excavators etc.) operators must meet minimum requirements for vision to be considered fit to perform their job.
Vision screening is performed using a Keystone vision screener. The test includes near and far visual acuity, depth perception, colour vision and peripheral fields. Those with below normal/acceptable vision for their specific role will be referred to the appropriate professional for further assessment. A vision test takes 10 minutes to complete and is followed by a full report and recommendations.
